Great that the festival/show season is in full swing but always disconcerting to hear of any accidents. Thankfully this one was not as bad as it might possibly have been.
Sturgis 7th August At
9.45 p.m. local time, Roland Sands was riding a motorcycle on the
Buffalo Chip stage between the concerts of Lita Ford and Kid Rock when
the motorcycle drove off the stage, injuring 2 people in the crowd.
Roland
Sands is an ex professional racer and a very experienced rider, The
stage was slightly wet because of rain.The reason for the accident is
unknown.
The
2 injured concert goers were treated on the scene by the Buffalo Chip
medical staff, then were transported to a local hospital.
